Mark Zuckerberg makes plea for opeess during F8 keynote.
Juan Garzón/CNETMark Zuckerberg made it clear Tuesday that he's no fan of Donald Trump.
Kicking off Facebook's F8 developer conference, the social giant's CEO rejected calls to build more walls and separate people. It was a none-too-veiled shot at the Republican presidential front-ruer, who's said that if he's elected, he'll have a wall built along the Mexican border and call for the deportation of millions of illegal immigrants.
"I hear fearful voices talking about building walls," Zuckerberg said onstage. "If the world starts to tu inwards, then our community will just have to work harder to bring people together."
Trump has previously attacked Zuckerberg, calling the tech CEO's push for more-open immigration through his public interest group Fwd.us a bad move for American workers.
Yet Zuckerberg described a broad mission for Facebook to coect people.
"Instead of building walls, we can help build bridges," he said. "Instead of dividing people, we can help bring them together."
