Johy Depp and Amber Heard are hitting screens for the wrong reasons, after the Australian Govement forced them to publicly apologise for 'disrespecting' the law and compromising Australia's biosecurity.
And all over a pair of Yorkshire terrier puppies.
In what many on social media are comparing to a "proof of life" video, Depp and Heard grimly espouse the unique beauty of Australia, while apologising for failing to declare their dogs to customs on a 2015 visit.
"Australia is a beautiful island, with a treasure trove of unique plants, animals and people," says Heard, somewhat lacking the pep of an ordinary tourism video.
"It has to be protected," Depp adds. "When you disrespect Australian law, they will tell you firmly."
The video was first published on an Australian Govement YouTube chael, before being shared on the Facebook page of Deputy Prime Minister Baaby Joyce (the very same man who 'firmly' told the couple last year it was time their dogs and "buggered off").
