Facebook is considering ways to let individual users make money from their posts, according to a survey the company sent to some users this week.

The social network's survey asked people if they would be interested in various options for making money or promoting a cause using their "personal presence" on the site, The Verge reported Tuesday. Options include a digital tip jar, branded content, a sponsor marketplace, revenue sharing, a call-to-action button or a donate option for charities.

Facebook didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
