Dish Network to offer house calls to fix your broken Apple iPhone - CNET

If you have an Apple iPhone 5, 5C, 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6S or 6S Plus with a broken screen or battery, the satellite and broadcast company, Dish Network, can now send over a technician to your house and fix your handset.

Available to all 50 states in the US, Dish's Smart Phone Repair Service offers same-day and next-day appointments, seven days a week. The price of the repair depends on what iPhone model you have and the service you need (see chart below). You'll also have to cough up an extra $35 for a "driving fee." At its most, to fix an iPhone 6 Plus' screen and battery will cost about $260.

The company also set up an online appointment tool so you can see the name and photo of your technician, and you can track their vehicle as they make their way to your house.

While the service is only limited to these seven iPhone models, the company does plan on expanding the list to include other smartphones in the coming months.
