A few months ago, Joshua Topolsky wrote a New Yorker article called 'The End of Twitter.' In it he heralded the coming death of the social media giant, pointing out bad omens like the January exodus of executives and plunging stock values.
Twitter is in the fickle business of social media, so its lifespan isn't guaranteed. That said, Twitter still has over $3 billion in cash reserves, so it probably isn't going anywhere too soon. In fact, in January, USA Today noted that Twitter could keep chugging along for hundreds of years, even with the current losses.
