Louie is a leopard tortoise and he's living the dream inside his very own scaled-down version of Jurassic Park. Louie's caretaker, YouTube user Oliver Turpin, built the elaborate set complete with grazing areas, a pool, a visitors center and the iconic park gates. There's no word yet on whether Louie is inclined to rampage through the fence like a shelled version of T. rex.
A video posted Monday of Louie hanging out in his new digs shows a critter that's way calmer than a velociraptor. He's really only a threat to the grass growing in his park. In a way, Turpin's build brings the "Jurassic Park" story full circle since the secret to the velociraptor sound effects came was recordings of tortoise sex noises.
According to the Smithsonian National Zoological Park, a leopard tortoise can grow to weigh as much as 70 pounds (32 kilograms). That means Louie might need a bigger Jurassic Park at some point, perhaps even an entire Jurassic World.
