Now Barbie and Wonder Woman fans will have a chance to pick up the iconic doll dressed as the iconic DC Comics superheroine at this year's San Diego Comic-Con Inteational July 20-24.
This news is even more apropos considering the controversy DC Comics' main competitor Marvel is dealing with. It was revealed last week that the company gender-swapped a villain in "Iron Man 3" from female to male because Marvel didn't think female comic book character toys would sell as well.
Retailing for $80 (about £54, AU$111), Wonder Woman Barbie is dressed in Gadot's battle-ready costume from "Batman v Superman," complete with her sword and shield.
