We feel a little nervous about the idea of giving robots the ability to feel pain, but a pair of researchers think teaching bots will help robots avoid injury in the future.
In other robotics news, two universities have teamed up to add a jumping mechanism to a small cockroach robot. It might seem strange at first, but when you consider these robo-roaches could assist in search and rescue missions in the future, it makes a lot of sense.
