Apple App Store and iCloud back online after outage - CNET

Apple's services are functioning as normal, after an outage that saw the App Store and plenty of iCloud features knocked for six.

Apple's status page says that all its services are ruing as normal after the glitches that appear to have taken hold across the globe yesterday evening.

"Users may have experienced slower than usual performance when using iCloud Drive, Backup, iCloud Notes, iWork for iCloud, and Photos," the status page says in reference to the recent spate of outages. "Users may also have experienced slowness with multiple services at iCloud.com."

I've contacted Apple to ask what caused the issues with its services, and will update if I hear back.
