The cast of Hamilton have gathered on stage (and on Facebook) for a teaser performance ahead of the Tony Awards this Sunday, performing one of the hits of the Broadway musical in an awesome 360-degree video.
Billed to be the big wier of this year's Tonys, fans queue every day outside the Richard Rogers Theatre on West 46th Street desperately trying to get tickets to the show. (Yes, it's booked out until 2017 in case you're wondering. And, no, I haven't managed to snag tickets).
But now anyone can get onstage with the cast for a minute-and-a-half, paing around the room as Leslie Odom Jr and the rest of the "Hamilton" company sing "Wait for It," a capella. You can even see the show's creator Lin-Manuel Miranda in the back, wearing his hoodie.
CBS, which is airing the Tonys this Sunday, posted the 360-degree video to Facebook today, and it's already racked up thousands of views (CBS is the parent company of CNET).
We can probably expect even more inteet buzz from "Hamilton" after it sweeps the awards field on Sunday. Just you wait, just you wait...
