Reports are emerging that Russian govement hackers have broken into the Democratic National Committee's computer network, obtaining access to all emails and chat transcripts, as well as the entire database of opposition research on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The cyber-attack is said to be one of several, including attempted breaches of Trump's presidential campaign and the campaign of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. Details on those cases were not made available.
