Which Amazon pilots will survive? It's up to you.
AmazonAmazon's latest TV shows promise to be a little... interesting.
The inteet retail giant debuted two of its TV-like video show pilots: The Interestings, about artistic teenagers in the 70s, and The Last Tycoon, an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's work about Hollywood power struggles. They're available to Amazon subscribers starting Friday.
The shows are part of Amazon's efforts to find hit shows by allowing viewers to vote on their survival. Last year, Amazon debuted one of its most controversial shows "The Man in High Castle," a show based on a novel about life in a world where the Nazis and Japanese won WW2. That same year, another show, Transparent, nabbed the inteet giant its first Golden Globe award.
