Twitter users already have emojis, hearts and hashtags, and soon they will be able to cover their photos with #stickers -- literally.
Twitter will soon let users add stickers to their photos.

The San Francisco-based social network said Monday that stickers will be joining the list of creative options for users to make their photos more interesting. Multiple stickers can be placed anywhere on a photo to describe "what you're doing, how you're feeling, show a support for a cause or just to add some flair," Twitter said.
The stickers also have a unique function. When Twitter users tweet a photo using a sunglasses sticker, for instance, others can click on the sunglasses to see how that sticker was placed in other photos elsewhere on the platform.
"Tapping on a sticker in a Tweet takes you to a new timeline, where you can see how people all over the world use that sticker in different ways," Twitter said.
