Walmart aounced today that it's offering a free 30-day trial of its ShippingPass service.
Similar to Amazon Prime, ShippingPass promises unlimited two-day shipping on any and all Walmart goods you desire. But unlike the $99 yearly fee for Prime, Walmart's version costs just $49. And to ease you into the service, the budget mega-retailer is handing out 30-day test runs in hopes that you'll stick around afterward.
Current ShippingPass subscribers aren't out of luck, either -- Walmart's sending out instructions to receive a free month of service via e-mail.
