Big Windows 10 update scheduled for August - CNET

Microsoft Windows 10 is on more than 350 million devices. All of them will be eligible for a free upgrade to Windows Aiversary Update that brings Cortana to the lock screen, Xbox Play Anywhere and other features.

Meanwhile, Amazon is doing its best to sell you more stuff. Amazon will offer discounted Android phones with a catch. That catch, in part, is advertisements on the lock screen. Amazon has done this discount before with the Kindle reader and Fire tablet. Will people be okay with ads on their phones?
