Disney's gamer-loving 'Wreck-It Ralph 2' comes to theaters in 2018 - CNET

Great news, fans of awesome movies! Actor John C. Reilly retus to the animated screen on March 9, 2018 as Wreck-It Ralph in Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph 2."

Unfortunately, the plodding aouncement that Disney made on Thursday through Facebook Live video nearly quashed the excitement as hard as Ralph himself smashes bricks in the original arcade-themed film. The first movie, which was released in November 2012, pulled us into a world of gaming genres as the lovable Ralph's well-meaning exploits threatened to pull the plug on his entire arcade world.

Here's hoping that Ralph can fix what he inevitably demolishes, with or without the help of nice-guy Fix-It Felix and poor, misunderstood Vanellope von Schweetz.

Original "Ralph" director Rich Moore will co-direct the sequel.
