Celebrate Camaro -- and America -- with this look back at pony-car greatness - Roadshow

Apple pie, baseball and the Chevrolet Camaro -- it doesn't get much more American than that. Over 50 years, the Camaro's established itself in American quintessence, and having been around for that long, it's been the star of many commercial spots and promotional videos. And now, Chevrolet's put all its greatest hits into one YouTube video.

GM's media archives compiled footage spanning the Camaro's entire history, from its start in the 1967 model year all the way to today -- minus the span of time from 2002 to 2010, when the Camaro didn't actually exist. If you want a good video to watch in between fireworks on Independence Day, it doesn't get much more American than this.

If you don't have 18 minutes of time to spare, Chevrolet's also put together a 1-minute supercut. Hey, sometimes you're just too busy to devote a third of an hour to watching old commercials.
