Hey, bae. Here's Microsoft's very awkward invite to a party - CNET

Burtchaell, a design student at Loyola University in New Orleans, helpfully posted the message on Twitter for all to see. It came, it seems, from a Microsoft university recruiter.

It began: "HEY BAE INTERN <3."

Ah. Oh, Is "bae" still cool veacular? I worry that it's over the hill. Or was this some clever allusion to the fact that the party would be in the Bae Area? I fear it was.

This was an invitation to a special after-party during Inteapalooza on July 11. I understand that some may refer to the main event as "Inteapabooza."

Indeed, this invitation offered: "There will be hella noms, lots of dranks [sic], the best beats and just like last year, we're breaking out the Yammer beer pong tables."

It ended, as all great emails should, with a flourish: "HELL YES TO GETTING LIT ON A MONDAY NIGHT."
