Pokemon Go's Google sign-in security flaw to be fixed - CNET

In a blog post, Adam Reeve noted a big flaw in Pokemon Go for iOS. Signing in using a Google account gives the app full access to the player's Google account. Data like emails, navigation data and photos could be reached by an app with such permissions. The game developer claims this is an error and is working on its own fix while Google is also aware of the overreaching.
