Aa Faris and Rhys Darby star in short film to educate you on airline safety - CNET

Air New Zealand is using the magic of celebrities and social media to make sure you have a safe flight.

The airline company's latest advert comes in the form of a short film starring famous NZ comic Rhys Darby and Aa Faris, of "Scary Movie" fame. You can find the YouTube clip above; you'll laugh, you'll cry and lea about airline safety.

It's not the first time Air New Zealand has gone to great, presumably expensive lengths for advertising. In 2014, the company commissioned a fun Hobbit-based safety advertisement.
