If you thought those shoes with built-in wheels were bad, you're going to love Modobag, a piece of motorized carryon luggage that you can physically sit on and steer through the airport on your way to catching a flight. Yes. Suitcase. Sitting. Vroom-vroom.
Boasting specs like a cushioned seat and retractable foot pegs, a 6-mile range (based on a 180-pound passengers) and 80 percent charge in 15 minutes, the Modobag also comes with a tracking app in case you and the bag ever part ways. The battery-charged suitcase -- which can also charge your phone -- weighs 19 pounds (empty) and can tow a rider weighing up to 260 pounds.
Super early-birds can buy the crowd-sourced case now for $995, or about £760 and AU$1,333, and expect to receive it around January 2017.
Just imagine the jealous scowls as you zip by all those bipedal chumps trudging -- or worse, running -- through the terminal. You and your trusty motorized steed would leave them all behind.
