PlayStation Vue adds NFL Network, Red Zone and more local CBS ststions - CNET

Vue viewers who are football fans will soon begin seeing red. The NFL's popular Redzone Network, that is.

Sony's live TV streaming service will add two new pro football-centric chaels, NFL Network and NFL Red Zone, to its slate of live TV chaels in time for the 2016 NFL football season.

In addition to Thursday Night Football games, The NFL Network chael airs shows like NFL GameDay Moing and A Football Life, highlights and analysis of all things football and covers events like the NFL Draft in the offseason. Red Zone airs every touchdown and other highlights in real time every Sunday, cutting from stadium to stadium.

Neither chael is available on Vue rival Sling TV.

CNET reached out to Sony and the NFL to determine which Vue package the chaels would appear on. The service has three, ranging in price from $30 to $55 per month, depending on which city you live in. Some Vue chaels are subject to restrictions, especially on mobile devices, so we also asked whether any restrictions apply to the two NFL chaels. We'll update this article when we hear back.
