'Firefly' Serenity plush slippers smuggle your toes in style - CNET

Usually, the Star Wars and Star Trek fandoms get all the crazy sci-fi fashion accessories, like Chewbacca Crocs and Trekini swimsuits. Soon fans of Joss Whedon's cult favorite "Firefly" will get some sweet new duds of their own in the form of plush Serenity spaceship slippers. Geeky retailer Entertainment Earth announced the slippers on Sunday and they are expected to ship out in November.

Practical footwear these are not. Entertainment Earth was that they are "oversized." They could probably stomp these Batmobile slippers into oblivion. The slippers offer up a nicely detailed version of Serenity for each foot. The nose of the ship sticks proudly out in front while the engines extend to the sides. They are one-size-fits-most, so you may be out of luck if you have really dainty or really big feet.

You don't necessarily have to use these slippers for your feet. You could use them to smuggle some illicit cargo, like nutritional bars or superhuman fugitives. It will cost you $44.99 (about £34, AU$60) to find out just how much contraband will fit into their cushy maws. No matter what, these slippers will look great with your Captain Tight Pants costume.
