If you're a public figure looking to coect with a mass tech-savvy audience, an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit is often the way to go. In fact, presidential candidate Donald J. Trump just did one on July 28, although it was hosted on his own subreddit, rather than the more customary AMA chael.
Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine are taking a different approach, answering questions on Quora, the less-popular-than-Reddit crowdsourced Q&A site. According to a post on Quora, the two candidates will respond to questions on August 8, and questions are being accepted now. Both Clinton and Kaine have done Quora apparences, which the company calls "Sessions," previously.
The company says, "We're excited to welcome back the Democratic Party Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine as our first group session hosts! With 100 days left until Election Day they are excited to answer your questions. Their session is now open and they will be answering Monday, August 8th." Questions can be submitted here.
