Natalie Portman's Jane Foster was conspicuous by her absence in 2015's "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron", and it looks as though that was a sign of things to come.
"I don't know if maybe one day they'll ask for an 'Avengers 7' or whatever, I have no idea. But as far as I know, I'm done. But it was a great thing to be a part of," said the actress, who played Thor's love interest.
The question was raised due to Portman's not taking part in "Thor: Ragnarok", the third fim in the Thor series, which is currently filming ahead of its November 2017 release date.
"Captain America: Civil War" was the most recent MCU jaunt, and is currently 2016's highest grossing film, taking in over $1.1 billion at the global box office.
