The 5 Love Languages - Gary Chapman

I think this book can help a lot of couples avoid a lot of uecessary conflict. So much insight on what love really is. It’s not manipulating the other person to get what you want, or always agreeing with the other person. It’s choosing to grow and pursue your partner intentionally in the way they receive love best, even if it’s not natural to you or the same way you receive it. It’s being gracious and grateful, even if you’re not always getting it in return. It’s a CHOICE and an ACTION, not just a feely-good emotion. Highly recommend!! This has changed our marriage entirely for the better, simply because we understand each other’s needs more and now know how to show up for each other better.
