We at CNET's Crave like to think of ourselves as super-geeks, but Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has us beat. Evans got married to Ashli Evans earlier in February, and his groom's cake tued his geekery up to 11.
Or, more accurately, to Nine and Three-Quarters.
Evans' groom's cake was an elaborately designed creation that boldly showed off his love for J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" series, and it seems to be a perfect way to celebrate the illustrious sorting ceremony that sorted Hogwarts students into one of the school's four houses.
Gryffindor serves as the base of the cake, and that's likely by design as Evans tweeted out that he was "Rocking wit Gryffindor" while sending out a picture of the cake.
The base of the cake featured some Potteresque designs like those famous circular Harry Potter glasses, a magic wand and a Hogwarts crest, and other finishing touches like a Golden Snitch can be found all over the dessert.
With such an elaborate, geeky design, we're sure Evans' groom's cake tasted pretty magical.
