A Pennsylvania couple did just this. They were rather distraught at what they saw on the state's Schuylkill Expressway.So they filmed it and sent the results in to local TV station WPVI-TV. What appears to happen in the video is that a female driver is texting on her phone with both hands. She's keeping the car balanced by way of one of her New Balances.Yes, she's steering with her foot. Even skydivers need parachute -- or a net.You certainly wouldn't expect an iPhone 5S to be anything other than a smashed collection of metal and glass if it fell that far. However, Jeannine Buck from British Columbia, Canada says her iPhone can do things others might not.As the Abbotsford News reports, Buck says she dropped her phone out the window of a Cessna in which she was a passenger last Monday night. She was flying around taking pictures out the window when the wind slipped it from her grasp.She says she saw it hitting tree branches in the park below which, perhaps, gave her hope.A few hours later, she persuaded a friend to offer his phone and its Find My iPhone app in order to search for hers.It helped that her phone has a distinctive ringtone -- Otis Redding's "(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay."She says she found it in the park and even posted a picture to her Facebook page to prove she wasn't making it all up.The screen wasn't cracked and the rest of the phone only had slight damage. The phone, she said, worked just fine.Buck didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. She has, however, retired Redding from his duties."I had just changed the ringtone [that] moing from 'Stayin' Alive,'" she told the Abbotsford News. "I've since changed in back in honor of the phone's will to live."Naturally, she describes it as "a miracle." [embedded content] Kilauea volcano in Hawaii has a lot to be happy about. Its current eruption has been going on since 1983, but that's just the latest in a long history of activity. The Pu'u O'o volcanic cone is a particular hotbed of activity. Tourists in a helicopter ride flying over the cone got two eyefuls when they looked down and spotted a grinning smiley face made from hot lava looking back up at them.The video comes from Mick Kalber of Tropical Visions Video and Paradise Helicopters, a tour company specializing in scenic flyovers of the Hawaiian Islands. It features five minutes of swirling vistas showing the volcano and the large arched "mouth" and two wide "eyes" that make up the face found in a lava lake inside a vent. Lava from the eruption flows into the ocean, creating large steam clouds where it reaches the water. It's like looking at the Hawaiian version of Mordor.The footage comes from late June, but was released on YouTube on Sunday. The smiley face has been in the volcanic cone at least since February, but it recently blew up on the inteet thanks to the evocative helicopter video footage. This isn't the first hot-as-Hades smiley face found in nature. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captured a grinning jack-o'-lante image of the sun back in 2014. In 2016, the touament for the battle arena game Dota 2 is looking to set another precedent, offering viewers around the world the option to tune in via VR, developer Valve announced in a blog post.You'll be able to watch the world's best Dota 2 players on the Dota VR Hub, using compatible headsets to watch live matches and replays in VR. You'll have the option of watching as if you were in the crowd at the event, or, better yet, you can even watch from within the game itself."Put on a headset and join your friends and other Dota fans to watch live matches or replays in Dota VR Theater, where you can stand surrounded by heroes and watch the action unfold on an enormous screen. Immerse yourself further by jumping through the minimap into the game itself. The joualist reportedly confessed to his misdeed, as if it was the most normal thing on earth."I'm just keeping an eye on it," he said. Oh, that's alright then. You might imagine that Kirby would have been a touch exasperated. Here was a joualist, there to listen to details about fighting a terrorist organization, who couldn't tear himself away from the game du jour.But Kirby is a professional. With a lighter palette than "Batman v Superman" and some seriously badass moves from the titular character (played by Gal Gadot once again), "WW" already looks better than we could've hoped. (Of course, a lot of us felt that way last year after we saw the first "Suicide Squad" trailer and look how that's tued out.)The trailer leans extensively on the relationship between Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine of "Star Trek Beyond"). And it seems that director Patty Jenkins is making liberal use of slow-motion captures to accentuate the gracefulness of our Amazonian women in battle.
